osCommerce has attracted a large growing e-commerce community that consists of over 176,700 store owners and developers who support each other and extend osCommerce Online Merchant with add-ons being contributed on a daily basis. To date there are over 4,700 add-ons that are available for free to customize osCommerce Online Merchant online stores and to help increase sales.

osCommerce Online Merchant is an Open Source online shop e-commerce solution that is available for free under the GNU General Public License. This is not the official project page for osCMax - open source Commerce Maximized. But here you will find the latest download package as well as historical downloads. The changelog will be posted here, as well as all relevant links, such as the bugtracker and documentation.

osCMax is a powerful and flexible e-commerce shopping cart software package. osCMax is a web base application that runs on a webserver, either Apache or IIS (and can run on others, but has not been tested). It requires a web server, PHP 4.x and up with register globals on, Mysql 3.53x and up , Apache 1.3 xor 2.x.
